Performance Analysis of the Asset Management System Pilot Deployment Project
The results of applying the asset management system logic to seven facilities, including Seoul Metropolitan Area Stages I–IV, showed a high degree of similarity to K-water’s renewal and replacement plans.
| Category | Pilot Deployment Results | Renewal and Replacement Plan (‘21~’23) | Number of Mismatched Assets | Match Rate (%) | Remarks |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Total | 4,562 | 801 | 3,761 | 17.6% | |
| 배경 Main Modules(M1~M30) | 489 | 469 | 20 | 95.9% | |
| Other Modules(M31) | 4,073 | 332 | 3,741 | 8.2% |
Analysis of Other Modules
Of 4,073 cases, 332 assets in poor condition were replaced based on operator judgment, while 3,741 assets that had reached the end of their service life but remained in good condition continue to be used.
| Category | Assets Subject to Replacement in the Past Three Years | Facility Names |
|---|---|---|
| K-AMS | 4,073 | Camera, Automatic Fire Detection Equipment, Distribution Board, Field Control Panel, Optical Transmission Equipment, Battery Panel, Ground Terminal Panel, Chemical Storage Tank, Monitor, Modem, Indoor Lighting, Handrail, Rectifier, Cable, etc. |
| Replacement Plan | 332 | Automatic Fire Detection Equipment, Field Control Panel, Battery Panel, Indoor Lighting, Handrail, Rectifier, Cable, etc. |
Analysis of 20 assets with mismatches between renewal/replacement results and plans from 2021 to 2023 showed that most were due to reasons such as idle facilities or reflection in higher-level plans, while some are scheduled for replacement after 2026.
| Business Site | Module | Equipment Number | Equipment Name | Year of Installation | Condition Grade | Reason for Mismatch |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yongin Booster Station | (M-3) Intake and Transmission Booster Pump | 30609499 | Centrifugal Pump | 1993 | E | Not implemented due to the booster station idle-operation plan |
| (M-8) Transformer | 30609698 | Mold Transformer Panel,TR-1 | 1993 | E | ||
| Gucheon Water Treatment Plant | (M-10) Instrument | 32600091 | Water Level Gauge | 2005 | E | Renewal and replacement budget allocated for 2026 |
